A lady, books and a squirrel wood burned on goiabao wood. 

This board titled "The Joy of Books" was created for Artfest 55.

This design was inspired by my wife. She loves to read and collect books.

The little friend reading a book was also and unexpected addition.

Coloring was added using Prismacolor pencils.

Archival spray over the coloring and mineral oil over the rest of the board. You may use the front side for cookies and also use the back side as a cutting board.

The yellow look of the board is the natural color of goiabao wood.

Free handed wood burning lets you get different arrangements of images and writing with unique shading.

Each board is unique.

The lettering is also wood burned using my left hand. We don't use any lazer or software programs to create our boards.
